3-Day Saadan and Magoroto Forest

At 0600 hours, our professional safari guide will pick you up and drive north to Saadani via Bagamoyo. The Park is located approximately 4-5 hours away. 1030 hours arrive at Saadani for a game drive. Resident animals include giraffe, buffalo, elephant, Lion, Leopard, Sable antelope, eland, hartebeest, wildebeest, zebra, waterbuck, and reedbuck. There’s a good chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, and sections of marine and riverine birds, including the mangrove kingfisher and lesser flamingo, along the Wami River. The beach is one of the last major green turtle breeding sites on mainland Tanzania. 1400pm after lunch, proceed for the game drive or choose to take a boat tour on the Wami River, Its waters and swamplands are home to a large population of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. You can also take a guided walking tour, or bird watching or sunbathe on the Saadani Beach, or visit the Saadani fishing village. Dinner and Overnight at Saadani Safari Lodge.
