This private, mid-range safari links Lake Manyara’s groundwater forest and lakeshore, the Central Serengeti’s big-cat country, and the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater. Your Tourias Pride driver-guide manages all logistics—from park entries and routing to smooth lodge/camp check-ins—so you can focus on photography and unhurried game viewing from a comfortable 4×4 with a pop-up roof. Begin with a relaxed overnight in Arusha, then aim for varied habitats and reliable sightings across Tanzania’s headline parks.
The pace balances scenic transfers and quality time in the field: a cultural-flavored Manyara day, two immersive days in Central Serengeti, a full Ngorongoro descent, and a scenic return to Arusha. Handpicked mid-range properties keep you close to the action, with meals included as listed and airport transfers covered.

Meet your Tourias Pride guide on arrival and transfer to a comfortable city hotel for a relaxed start. As you overland toward Arusha, get your first feel for northern Tanzania—roadside markets, views of Mt. Meru on a clear day, and everyday life along the highway. On check-in, unwind by the pool or garden and let the travel fade while your guide reviews the route, park highlights, and optimal daily timings tailored to the season.
This gentle first evening helps you acclimatize before long but rewarding game-viewing days. Settle in, enjoy dinner, and rest up for tomorrow’s departure toward the Rift Valley.

Depart after breakfast toward Mto wa Mbu for a cultural flavor—rice and banana plots, smallholder farms, and optional short cycling or coffee-making activities. Break for a hot local lunch before entering Lake Manyara National Park, a compact gem with evergreen forest giving way to acacia woodland and open lakeshore.
Work the forest tracks and shoreline for elephants, hippos, blue monkeys, abundant birdlife, and—if luck strikes—tree-climbing lions lounging in fig branches. By late afternoon, continue to your Karatu lodge to relax before dinner.

Climb through the Ngorongoro highlands, then descend onto the endless Serengeti plains. Game-drive en route toward Seronera—year-round big-cat territory where river lines, acacias, and granite kopjes attract predators and herds. Enjoy a picnic in the wilderness and keep an eye on sausage trees and fig groves for leopards between branches.
Arrive at your tented camp for a sunset welcome, freshen up, and savor dinner as night sounds rise across the plains. Tomorrow is dedicated to unhurried exploration of Central Serengeti.

Wake before dawn for golden-hour viewing when predators patrol and herbivores move to new grazing. Work the river circuits and kopje systems, scanning for lions warming on granite slabs, cheetah coursing the short-grass, and elephants drifting to water. Your guide adapts routing to recent movements and your interests—behavior, birds, or photography.
Return to camp for lunch and a rest, then roll out again mid-afternoon as the light softens for classic silhouettes and last-light action. Wrap with a fireside recap under a sky bright with stars.

After breakfast, take a final Serengeti circuit—often through southern sectors—before continuing to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend nearly 600m to the crater floor, a compact mosaic of grasslands, marshes, and soda lakes where high densities of herbivores draw predators. Picnic at a scenic site, then continue your loop for chances at lions, large buffalo herds, and, with luck, black rhino along quieter tracks.
Ascend the rim in the late afternoon and continue to Karatu for a relaxed evening and dinner in the cool highland air.

Savor a slow breakfast and begin the scenic return to Arusha, passing Rift Valley villages and small farms with time to stop for crafts if desired. Arrive in town for lunch and a brief unwind before your transfer to the airport for onward travel or a Zanzibar beach finish.
Your Tourias Pride team aligns drop-off with your schedule and can arrange extra nights or experiences if you’d like to extend your holiday.
