On the second day in the Serengeti, you will experience one of those sunrises for which the Serengeti is famous worldwide. The way back from the Serengeti leads us to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Under the guidance of a trained ranger, you can explore the flora and fauna on a guided walking safari, or enjoy the rest of the day at your accommodation. During a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater the next day, you will be looking for the “Big Five” you have not yet seen in front of your lens. ResetArusha National Park is Tanzania’s smallest national park at the gates of Arusha. It covers an area of around 542 square kilometers and is known for its diverse landscapes, which include Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes. At certain times, thousands of flamingos populate the lakes, which are surrounded by lush meadows and forests. The park offers you vegetation systems that are not seen in other northern national parks in the country. Experience tropical rainforest, savannah landscapes, and alpine vegetation zones. Hollywood did not choose this region for the film “Hatari” with John Wayne and Hardy Krüger without reason. More than 400 species of exotic birds and a variety of mammals are at home here, such as the rare black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and the world’s largest giraffe population, to name just a few
After a relaxed breakfast, you will spend the whole day on a game drive in the nearby Arusha National Park. After our game drive, you will end the day at the pool of your lodge.

ResetTarangire is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. The landscape consists of low hills with sparse acacia forests, huge baobab trees, and savannah grasslands. The Tarangire River is the main water source of the park and is ideal for wildlife viewing of all kinds. Herds of wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, zebra, giraffe, hippos, and many antelopes are waiting to be photographed by you. You might even get the well-camouflaged leopard in front of your lens with luck and good eyes.
After an early breakfast, we make our way to Tarangire National Park on well-maintained roads. You will be there on a game drive until the afternoon. We use the Tarangire as a stopover on your way to the Serengeti. In Tarangire, you will get more fascinating impressions of the varied landscapes and the richness of African wildlife. At lunchtime, we drive to a picnic area and enjoy the contents of our lunch box. Don’t let the cute little monkeys steal your food while you let your gaze wander over the impressive landscape. After our game drive in Tarangire, you will spend the night in a camp in the middle of the national park

ResetThe Serengeti is a vast and impressive expanse of grasslands, savannahs, and forests that is home to one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles. The Serengeti is famous for its annual great migration, with millions of wildebeest and other herbivores crossing the plains in search of fresh grazing land. It offers safari enthusiasts a front-row seat to this unique natural phenomenon. The Serengeti promises an unforgettable adventure, where visitors experience the untamed beauty of the African wilderness from a close-up level you wouldn’t expect.
The journey to the Serengeti takes place over forested heights in the Ngorongoro Highlands. We follow the crater rim to a viewpoint where you can take your first photos of the crater. Our destination today is the Central Serengeti.
On our way to the Serengeti, we will make a stop and visit a traditional Maasai village, where you will be greeted with singing and the famous jumping dance of the young warriors.

ResetBe prepared to get up early this morning. At dawn, we will leave the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Crater. Rising early for your morning game drive will be rewarded with lions and other nocturnal prey hunters that you will see as they return from their long night of hunting
Walking safari in the afternoon on day 7
After arrival at the Ngorongoro crater rim, an optional hike takes you through vegetation areas that are unique to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you will experience the proximity of giraffes, zebras, and elephants on foot from a different perspective than from a safari vehicle.

ResetThe Ngorongoro Crater is one of seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Tanzania. The 610-meter-deep “crater” is a 260-square-kilometer caldera, it is often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world” and is undoubtedly the main attraction of the nature reserve. The crater basin is the habitat of about 25,000 large mammals all year round. Among them are the so-called Big Five.
Nowhere in Africa is the probability of encountering these animals greater than here. The so-called “largest zoo in the world” is also a habitat for cheetahs, hyenas, servals, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, hippos, monkeys, and the rare black rhinoceros, as well as bird species such as crowned cranes, eagles, pelicans, ostriches, and flamingos.
After an early breakfast and a short drive, we descend into the crater. With a bit of luck, you will have the opportunity to take photos of the rare black rhinos today. However, you will look in vain for giraffes. They do not succeed in climbing up into the highlands and the crater.
After a warm lunch at Lake Magadi, we make our way to Lake Manyara, our safari destination for tomorrow, in the afternoon

ResetThe area around the eponymous Lake Manyara provides habitat for thousands of pink flamingos, other waterfowl, and over 300 other tropical bird species. The landscape varies between groundwater and acacia forests, open grasslands, and marshlands. You will encounter large troupes of baboons, and look out for elephants, giraffes, impalas, bushbucks, waterbucks, warthogs, and blue monkeys in the green of the forests. With a bit of luck, you will see lions resting in acacia trees. A behavior for which the park’s lions are famous.
You’ll find that wildlife is less present in Manyara than in the parks you’ve visited so far. This is where your ability to observe, search, and find is required. With a little spirit of discovery, you can spot the park’s animals in the green of the forests. Our guide will certainly pay you a visit to the “Hippo Pool”. Before you see the impressive natural spectacle of the hippos frolicking, you will smell that you are close to your destination. A safari is an experience for all the senses. After a lunch break under acacia umbrellas, during which you will enjoy the warm lunch one last time, we will make our way back to Arusha.
