Over dinner, your guide reviews the route and optimal game-viewing times for each park and checks any special interests—photography, birds, or big-cat behavior—to tailor the coming days.
Settle into your room and rest well before an early departure tomorrow. This gentle first day helps you shake off travel fatigue and ensures you’re fresh for long but rewarding days out in the bush ahead.
Drive to Tarangire where a ribbon of life—the seasonal river—attracts elephants, zebra, wildebeest, and buffalo, with lions never far behind. Work river loops and acacia woodlands for giraffe and impala, scan termite mounds for dwarf mongoose, and watch the skies for circling raptors. Your morning rhythm focuses on cooler hours when wildlife is active and light is soft.
