This 3-day Tanzanian itinerary offers a unique blend of deep cultural immersion and world-class wildlife viewing. After arrival and an overnight in Arusha, Day Two is dedicated to an authentic cultural experience at Lake Eyasi. Here, you will join the Hadzabe tribe for a traditional hunting excursion and visit the Datoga tribe to learn about their customs and fire-starting techniques, providing rare insight into indigenous ways of life.
The journey culminates on Day Three with a full-day game drive in the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Within this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will search for the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, and observe flamingos on Lake Makat. The trip concludes with a direct transfer from the crater to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight, making for a compact yet profoundly rich experience of Northern Tanzania’s cultural and natural heritage.

With boxed picnics, leave for Lake Eyasi where you will be joined by a local guide for the cultural tour of Lake Eyasi
You will participate early morning hunting with the Hadzabe tribe whose food source mainly depend on hunting, collecting fruits and honey. These are also blacksmith as the tool for hunting are also produced by themselves. You will also have an opportunity to visit the Datoga Tribe who also live harmoniously in the same region. You will receive an informative lecture on how they conduct their traditional ceremonies including their famous technique of starting fire.
Later, drive to Karatu small town head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

With picnics, drive to Ngorongoro Crater game drives.
The Ngorongoro Crater floor holds good number of animals such as buffalos, elephants, black backed jackals, hyena and the rare rhinos. Lake Makat which is fed by the Munge River, is preferred by pink flamingos due to its alkaline water that favors the growth of algae.
Later, ascend out of the crater drive back to Arusha and onto the airport for your onward flight.

Any trip cancellations must be sent in writing to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.
