Your adventure begins the moment you land at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where your guide will greet you with a packed lunch. From there, it’s a scenic drive to the lush, groundwater forest of Lake Manyara National Park for your first game drive. Keep your eyes on the iconic acacia trees, as this is one of the few places in the world where you might spot lions lounging on branches. The park’s compact size boasts remarkable diversity, from large elephant herds and troops of baboons to the shimmering alkaline lake itself, often painted pink with thousands of flamingos.
As the afternoon draws to a close, you’ll retreat from the park to your comfortable accommodation for the night. You will stay at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, a charming mid-range lodge located less than an hour’s drive away. Here, you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and savor the first evening of your safari. All meals and drinking water are included today.

After breakfast, you’ll journey towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with the landscapes gradually opening into the vast, golden grasslands that define this iconic ecosystem. After registering at the Naabi Hill Gate, you’ll dive into a full day of exploration in the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley). This region is the wildlife-rich heart of the park, offering superb year-round sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and massive herds of buffalo and elephants, regardless of the migration’s location.
You’ll spend your day searching for the Big Five and the countless other species that call this sea of grass home. As the sun begins to set, casting a warm glow over the plains, you’ll make your way to your authentic bush camp. Your home for the night is Shuhdia Adventure Camp, a comfortable mid-range tented camp located inside the park, allowing you to fall asleep to the genuine sounds of the African wilderness. All meals and drinking water are included.

Enjoy an early breakfast before bidding farewell to the Serengeti and traveling to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views as you climb into the highlands, culminating at the rim of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. You will then descend the steep inner wall on a thrilling journey into this unique, self-contained world, often called the “Garden of Eden.” The crater floor is a microcosm of East African habitats, hosting nearly 30,000 large mammals, including the rare black rhino, dense populations of lion, and huge herds of wildebeest and zebra.
Your full-day game drive here is a quest for the Big Five amidst grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing in this natural amphitheater, you will ascend the crater in the late afternoon. You will spend the night at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, a pleasant mid-range lodge located on the crater’s outskirts, where you can relax and recount the day’s incredible sightings. All meals and drinking water are provided.

Your morning game drive offers excellent opportunities to see these gentle giants up close, along with lions, giraffes, and a wide variety of antelope, making for a spectacular finale to your wildlife adventure.
Following your game drive and a picnic lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha.
