Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your Safari Under The Sky guide. Without delay, you’ll begin your adventure with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful park, set against the steep escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos that paint the alkaline lake pink. Your first game drive will take you through groundwater forests and along the lakeshore in search of elephants, giraffes, hippos, and myriad bird species. After a picnic lunch in the park, the afternoon offers further exploration before you drive to the elegant and luxurious Kitela Lodge to settle in for the evening.

After breakfast, you embark on a scenic and game-filled drive towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey itself is an adventure as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll arrive at the luxurious Kubukubu Tented Lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for your first official Serengeti game drive. Your guide will begin tracking wildlife in this iconic ecosystem, famous for its immense herds and high density of predators. Today is fully dedicated to immersing yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti. You may choose an optional hot-air balloon safari at dawn for a breathtaking aerial perspective. You’ll have an early start for the drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking experience. This UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera hosts an astonishing concentration of wildlife. You will spend the morning on a game drive on the crater floor, with excellent chances of seeing the rare black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, and flamingos. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the crater. After a final exploration, you’ll ascend the steep crater walls and drive to the comfort of Kitela Lodge in the highlands.

After a relaxing breakfast, you begin your journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will stop for a hot lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana and have time to freshen up before transferring to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your scheduled flight to the spice island of Zanzibar. Upon landing at Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ), you will be met and transferred to the exclusive Z Hotel on Nungwi Beach. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. You can take your first stroll along the beach, feel the Indian Ocean breeze, and enjoy dinner independently, marking the beginning of the island portion of your trip.

To secure your journey with Ultimate Serengeti, a 15% deposit is required at the time of booking. This allows us to confirm your reservations and begin preparing every detail of your safari experience. Payment instructions will be shared via email.
The remaining balance is due no later than six (6) weeks before your tour begins. For bookings made within six weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. All payments to Ultimate Serengeti must be made free of bank fees or credit card processing charges.
Your booking is confirmed once Ultimate Serengeti has received the required deposit and issued written confirmation of your reservation.
The guest making the booking must be 18 years of age or older and agrees to provide accurate and complete information as requested to finalize arrangements. When booking on behalf of additional guests, the person confirming the reservation confirms that:
If you need to cancel your tour, please notify Ultimate Serengeti in writing as soon as possible. As significant preparations and commitments are made in advance, cancellation fees will apply per guest to cover unrecoverable costs, as outlined below:

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the date written notice is received by Ultimate Serengeti.
Ultimate Serengeti does not provide travel insurance. Clients are therefore required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance in their country of residence. At a minimum, coverage must include medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, and repatriation.
It is strongly recommended that clients also secure insurance covering trip cancellation and any additional costs that may arise from loss, damage, injury, delay, or other unforeseen inconveniences. When purchasing travel insurance, clients must inform their insurer of the nature of the travel and activities involved to ensure appropriate coverage for participation in the tour.
