Day 1:

Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, you will depart for Mto wa Mbu, a dynamic and culturally rich town at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. Home to an astonishing blend of over 120 Tanzanian tribes, the town is a fascinating hub of languages, customs, and entrepreneurial spirit. Accompanied by a local guide, you will tour the village, meeting farmers and talented artisans like the Rangi weavers and Makonde woodcarvers. You’ll have the unique opportunity to sample traditional banana beer and enjoy a flavorful lunch of authentic Tanzanian dishes at a local restaurant. Day 2: Serengeti

You’ll begin today with a scenic drive from the highlands towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey itself is spectacular, winding through the farmlands of Karatu and up into the lush, forested highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might spot buffalo or monkeys. As the landscape unfolds into the iconic golden savanna, you’ll enter the Serengeti—the heart of wild Africa. You will arrive at your camp in the central Seronera region for check-in, lunch, and a brief respite. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for your first game drive along the Seronera River, a vital water source that attracts a magnificent concentration of wildlife, offering excellent viewing opportunities as the sun begins to set.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you bid farewell to the Serengeti and travel to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO site and one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Descending into the 600-meter-deep caldera, you enter a self-contained Eden teeming with over 120 mammal species, including the Big Five. The crater’s permanent water sources support a high density of predators and large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo. You will enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo-filled waters of Lake Magadi, often tinged pink with flamingos. After a final afternoon of game viewing in this breathtaking natural amphitheater, you will ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure.

  • If booking is made within 60 days of departure, full payment is due immediately.

  • Reservations are not secured until the deposit is received.
