Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel or the airport by your expert driver-guide. After a brief safari introduction, you’ll journey towards Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River. Your full-day exploration unveils the park’s famous residents: massive herds of elephants, stately giraffes, prowling lions, and abundant zebras. The varied scenery of rolling hills and seasonal swamps, including Lake Burunge, provides a stunning backdrop for your wildlife viewing, culminating in a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park.
As the golden afternoon light bathes the baobabs, you’ll exit the park and travel to the nearby town. Your home for the night is Fanaka Lodge, a charming mid-range lodge set amidst lush gardens.Â

After breakfast, you’ll depart Karatu and journey towards the legendary Serengeti ecosystem, heading specifically for the renowned Ndutu Plains in the Southern Serengeti. This region is the dramatic stage for the calving season of the Great Migration (typically December-April), where thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather, attracting a host of predators. Your game drive through these vast, golden grasslands offers unparalleled opportunities to witness the circle of life in action, from vulnerable newborn calves to vigilant lion prides and swift cheetahs.
Your immersion in this raw and beautiful wilderness continues as you arrive at your accommodation for the night. You will stay at Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp, an authentic mid-range tented camp nestled directly in the heart of the Ndutu area. Falling asleep to the distant calls of hyenas and waking to the sunrise over the plains is the quintessential safari experience.Â

Rise early to maximize your time in one of Africa’s most spectacular sites: the Ngorongoro Crater. After an early breakfast, you’ll make the scenic drive to the crater rim, where you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking view into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Your descent down the steep inner wall brings you into a self-contained, prehistoric world teeming with wildlife. Often called the “Garden of Eden,” the crater floor is your playground for a full-day game drive in search of the Big Five, with an excellent chance of spotting the rare black rhino amidst the dense populations of lions, hyenas, elephants, and flamingo-lined lakes.
After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing in this natural amphitheater, you will ascend the crater walls in the late afternoon and return to the fertile highlands of Karatu. You will spend a second night at the comfortable Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, where you can share stories of the day’s incredible sightings over a well-earned dinner. All meals and a selection of drinks are included.

Your final day transports you from the world of wildlife to a living cultural heritage. After breakfast, you’ll drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi to spend the morning with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true hunter-gatherer communities on Earth. You’ll have the rare privilege of accompanying the men on a traditional hunt using bows and arrows, learning about gathering techniques, and experiencing their unique click-language and ancient way of life that has remained largely unchanged for millennia.
Following this profound and humbling experience, you will also visit a Datoga blacksmith community to see their traditional crafts. After a picnic lunch by the lake, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, filled with unique memories. You will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari. The package includes breakfast and lunch, with dinner not included as you depart.
