Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, where our team will greet you and facilitate a smooth transfer. You’ll be taken to your comfortable lodge in Arusha, a vibrant city resting in the shadow of the majestic Mount Meru. This day is designed for you to unwind and acclimate after your travels. If your flight schedule permits, a brief introductory tour of the city can be arranged, offering a glimpse into local life and culture.
Your accommodation is the Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa. Use this evening to prepare for the adventure ahead, with all the necessary safari briefings provided by your guide. Only breakfast is included today, allowing you the flexibility to choose your dinner venue.
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart Arusha and journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is a transition into wilderness, with landscapes gradually opening into the iconic golden grasslands. Your first game drive focuses on the Central Serengeti (Seronera region), an area teeming with wildlife year-round thanks to the permanent water sources of the Seronera River. You’ll quickly encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and plentiful antelope, while keeping a keen eye out for the region’s famous big cats.
A highlight of the day is a delicious hot hamper lunch served at a scenic spot right in the heart of the park, surrounded by nature. The afternoon offers continued exploration before you arrive at your home in the bush. You will spend the night at The African Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp, a luxury tented camp that provides an authentic and comfortable base deep inside the Serengeti. All meals and a selection of drinks are included.
Awake to the sounds of the African bush for a second full day of exploration dedicated solely to the Serengeti. An early start maximizes your chances of seeing predators in action during the cool morning hours and provides perfect soft light for photography. Your guide will take you across diverse terrains—open plains, riverine forests, and rocky outcrops known as kopjes—in search of lion prides, elusive leopards, and swift cheetahs. Depending on the season, you may witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration.
The day is completely flexible, allowing for relaxed wildlife viewing, birdwatching for species like the vibrant lilac-breasted roller, or simply absorbing the vastness of the landscape. You’ll enjoy another picnic lunch in a beautiful location before continuing your safari through the afternoon. As the sun sets, you return to the comfort and warmth of The African Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp for another night under a blanket of stars.
Enjoy a final breakfast in camp before beginning a scenic journey eastward out of the Serengeti. The drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is an adventure in itself, offering beautiful views of rolling highlands, Maasai villages, and occasional wildlife along the roadside. Upon reaching the crater rim, you’ll be greeted by one of Africa’s most breathtaking vistas: the vast, floor of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera stretching out 600 meters below.
You will descend into this natural amphitheater for a spectacular game drive. Often called the “Garden of Eden,” the crater is a haven for the Big Five, offering an exceptional chance to see the endangered black rhino alongside dense populations of lions, hyenas, zebra, and flamingo-filled lakes. After an unforgettable exploration and a picnic lunch, you’ll ascend the crater and continue your transfer back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for a hotel drop-off or direct airport transfer for your onward journey.

Any trip cancellations must be sent in writing to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.
