Today, at best in the morning we welcome and greet you at Kilimanjaro Airport. Your guide and driver for this week will take us to Arusha in your first accommodation. We will accompany you to check in, discuss your travel plans with you, and answer your questions. Arrive first and relax. In the afternoon, you can get your first impressions of African life on a walking tour in Arusha, do some small shopping, or experience local handicrafts in the Maasai Market. Today you will spend the night in Arusha.

ResetTarangire National Park is famous for its concentration of elephants and giant baobab trees. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is a unique source of fresh water in the park area. With open grasslands, acacia forest, marshes, and hills, it provides the habitat for lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas and many other antelope species. For bird watching, the park has about 450 species of birds.
After breakfast, we drive over well-developed roads to Tarangire National Park for game drives with packed warm lunches. Here you will see your first gazelles, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and elephants of all sizes. After the game drive, we will make our way to your accommodation in Karatu. Enjoy the sunset by the pool with a sundowner, dinner, and a relaxing night’s sleep.

ResetThe Serengeti is home to predators such as cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and lions, while along the rivers is the territory of hippos, crocodiles, and leopards. Large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, impalas, and hartebeest, populate the landscape.
After enjoying your tea or coffee in the early morning, we take a short drive to the Ngorongoro highlands and follow the road to the Serengeti National Park. On our way, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village. The villagers will greet you with singing, while the young warriors will compete with their famous jumps from a standing start. Before we reach Serengeti Park, we stop at a nice picnic area where you will have the opportunity to use spotlessly cleaned washrooms for refreshment and eat food from lunch boxes. We are already on a game drive on the way to your accommodation in the Serengeti. Today you will spend the night in the heart of the Serengeti

ResetThe Ngorongoro Crater in the Ngorongoro Nature Reserve is a volcanic caldera inhabited by a variety of wildlife species. The crater is 610 m deep, is home to over 30,000 large animals. Ngorongoro is an iconic unique place to see rare black rhinos, as well as other species such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, serval cats, zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, monkeys and bird species such as crowned cranes, eagle pelicans and flamingos.
This morning you enjoyed a breathtaking sunrise in the Serengeti. We leave the Serengeti with a game drive and make our way to the Ngorongoro Sanctuary. When we arrive at the Ngorongoro crater, you might notice that no giraffes are living there, instead, with a bit of luck, you will have the opportunity to take photos of the rare black rhinos. In the late afternoon, arrive back at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

ResetA visit to a Hadzabe village begins before sunrise. They watch the hunters as they demonstrate their hunting techniques and practices with which they attract and kill their prey.
The Hadzabe are an indigenous ethnic group of about 2,000 people in Tanzania. They are one of the last remaining groups of hunter-gatherers in Africa and have lived in the region for thousands of years. They have their own language, which is similar to that of the Kalahari Bushmen with its click sounds but is not related to it. The Hadzabe people are known for their traditional hunting and gathering practices. Tools such as bows, arrows, and digging sticks are still used today. They collect honey, berries, and other wild fruits and nuts.
Unfortunately, your safari adventure in Tanzania comes to an end with a visit to the Hadzabe on Lake Eyasi. After a last warm lunch in the bush, we make our way back to Arusha.
Your safari guide will make sure you catch your flight home or your connecting flight to Zanzibar on time
