Over approximately six to seven hours, the landscape dramatically transforms from fertile farmland into the vast, golden grasslands that define the Serengeti.
Upon entering the park, your game drive begins immediately. This is your first introduction to the iconic “endless plains,” where you might spot herds of zebra and wildebeest, towering giraffes, and perhaps predators resting in the shade. You’ll arrive at your accommodation as the sun begins to set. You’ll witness their craftsmanship and learn about their pastoralist way of life. After this immersive cultural journey, you’ll be transferred to your lodge for the evening. Your morning game drive through the groundwater forest and along the lakeshore is a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many other species in a stunning, condensed setting.
Following your game drive and a picnic lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha.
