Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your Safari Under the Sky driver-guide. During the transfer to your hotel in Arusha, you’ll get your first glimpse of Tanzanian life. If the weather is clear, you may be treated to stunning views of the majestic snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. You will arrive at your hotel with ample time to complete a relaxed check-in and settle in after your journey. The evening is yours to unwind at your leisure, perhaps with a stroll around the hotel grounds, before enjoying dinner and resting for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem set against the steep rift valley escarpment. This compact park is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions and the vast flocks of flamingos that paint its alkaline lake pink. Your game drive will take you through groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, and along the lakeshore, searching for elephants, giraffes, hippos, and troops of baboons and blue monkeys. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site near a hot spring. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to your comfortable lodge for a relaxing evening.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and have some time to relax and reflect on your incredible safari adventure. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure flight, marking the end of your comprehensive 6-day Tanzanian wildlife experience.
