Trip Itinerary

Day 1:

Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your Safari Under the Sky guide and transferred to your lodge. Located on a hill, the lodge offers expansive views of the African savannah and, weather permitting, majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The evening is yours to relax, enjoy dinner, and acclimate to your new surroundings.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park famed for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. The park’s diverse ecosystems include groundwater forests, grassy plains, and the alkaline lake itself, attracting a wide variety of animals and over 350 bird species.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch by a hot spring. The afternoon is for further game viewing before you drive to your lodge for a leisurely evening.

Day 3: Lake Natron

Today’s journey takes you on a bumpy, scenic ride through remote Maasai areas to Lake Natron, with views of Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano. Upon arrival, a local Maasai guide will escort you to camp. After lunch, your guide will lead you on a walk to explore the lake’s shores and observe flocks of flamingos.

In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to a sunset viewpoint for drinks before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 4: Lake Natron

Day 6: Serengeti

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
