Transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for a scenic morning flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, meet your professional safari guide and begin your first game drive across the endless plains. The Serengeti is world-famous for its abundant wildlife and the Great Migration, depending on the season. Expect to see large herds of wildebeest and zebras, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by nature. Continue with afternoon wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay at Kontiki Serengeti Camp.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti as you gradually make your way toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the early afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha through scenic highlands and rural landscapes.
