Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to Arusha Planet Lodge located in the peaceful suburbs of Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy leisure time by the swimming pool, explore the lodge gardens, or simply rest before your safari begins. After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to the spectacular Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant populations, and diverse wildlife habitats. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park while spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species around the Tarangire River. The park’s scenic landscapes and seasonal wildlife migrations create exceptional safari experiences throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park surrounded by breathtaking wilderness scenery before continuing your afternoon game drive. Following breakfast, continue your safari journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy a morning game drive through diverse ecosystems where you may spot elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the lakeshore. The park’s compact size and rich biodiversity make it a beautiful final safari destination before departure. After lunch, begin your drive back toward Arusha while enjoying views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and local villages along the route.
